Monday Morning Grin: The "F" Word
Even though it is used nowadays about as often as "please" and "thank you", I think casual use of the "F" word is vulgar and tasteless.
BUT, sometimes, no other word is appropriate:
Yes, that's paint!
Gives new meaning to the phrase "Up to my ass in alligators"

I remember the days when we were as one
But with the passing of time your love grew cold
But no matter how tight I tried to hold on
I need you with me and in my heart

Movie Review: Frankie & Johnnie
The other day, we happened to catch this HBO movie from 1991. I saw it way back then, but again with fresh eyes recently. We loved it! It's a sleeper. Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer turn in excellent performances as two common laborers in a Greek NYC greasy spoon.
It's charming, it's funny, it's believable. It's a romantic comedy that your guy will enjoy (it's got Scarface in it, after all). Highly entertaining fare for a pleasant night in.

Dear Stella, I Want My Family Back
Now, we still spend lots of time together, and she even spent the whole last week here at home with me. I really love her and she says she really loves me. What can I do to get my family back? We have had our ups and downs, but I think we've had many more ups than downs. But our downs have been really really bad, as we both went outside our relationship with other people. We have forgiven each other for that and moved on.
I just don't understand why she had to move out to figure things out. And why if she wants her time and space does she spend so much time at home with me? She spends maybe 3 days a week at her apartment and the other 4 at home with me. Is there any way I can get her to come back home for good? Is there any way to get our relationship back on track and moving forward instead of reverse? Please give me some good advice here; I'm dying and want my family back!
Thank you sincerely,

How To Hold Onto Love? Don't
Found a cool bloglet in my web travels, and thought I'd share it with you. It addresses true love, and how to keep it. Enjoy:
Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool together, a good friend of mine filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: "You see this water carefully contained in my hand? It symbolizes Love."
I understood what she meant, and this was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will stay. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it, make a fist and try to possess it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds.
And this is one of the greatest mistakes that people make when they meet love... they try to posses it, they demand, they expect... they close a fist around it. And just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retreat when you attempt to seize it!
Love is meant to be free; you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.
Give and don't expect.
All this advice might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly learn. It is the secret of true love. To nurture it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, just an unconditional caring.
And a passing thought... Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away.....
