Leo! Here's your romance horoscope for the month:
People around you seem to be going through upheaval or crises, but your love life just keeps merrily moving on, doesn't it? Otherwise, your social life is on hold. Focus on your needs and wants... a quick travel getaway by yourself might provide some much-needed calming solace right now. Your partner may be quite contrary this month, and not at all sure what he wants or needs. Just be yourself, keep the intimate doors open, and relax! Things should be more clear and decisive by the end of the month.

Monday morning grin: Simple Home Remedies
A friend of ours sent us this list of amazingly simple home remedies:
2. Clumsy? Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop away.
3. Avoid arguments with your wife about lifting the toilet seat easily by simply using the sink.
4. For high-blood-pressure sufferers: just cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.
5. A mousetrap placed on top of your alarm clock will prevent you from hitting the snooze button and going back to sleep.
6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be afraid to cough.
7. Got a bad toothache? Smash your thumb with a hammer and you will forget all about the toothache.
8. Always remember the true rules of life: You only need two tools - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40; if it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
9. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them. So be brief with people.
10. Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
Some thoughts for the day:
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance.
Be really nice to your family and friends; you never know when you might need them to empty your bedpan.
Some people are like "slinkies". They're not really good for anything; but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Amazing True Love Story of Herman and Roma
Herman and Roma Rosenblat, who now live in North Miami Beach, actually met many years ago as children. He was a 12-year-old in a Nazi concentration camp in Poland and she was a 9-year-old girl who lived in a nearby town. For months, Roma tossed apples and bread across a fence to help that little boy survive.
One day, he was transferred to another camp and thought he had seen the last of his pretty young benefactor.
Fourteen years later, Rosenblat - who had since emigrated to New York after the war - was cajoled into joining a friend on a blind double date. Herman and his new date were nervous, and spoke of their common backgrounds as Polish émigrés. The conversation eventually turned to his childhood in a concentration camp, and Roma volunteered that she had lived near a camp where she would visit a young boy every day and sneak him food across the fence. Fate had brought this couple back together!
"That was me!" Rosenblat exclaimed. "and now that I've found you, I'm not going to ever let you go." He proposed marriage right on the spot. She replied to him, 'You're crazy. We just met."
Herman persisted, though, and six months later, the couple was married. They went on to raise two children, a son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Renee.
This amazing true love story was mentioned in 'Holy Moments' by Lenya Heitzig. Read about the film 'Flower of the Fence' based on Herman Rosenblat's autobiography 'The Will to Survive'. The film is now in production, and stars Richard Dreyfuss. This oughta be a nice juicy love story... can't wait til it's done!

Claim Your 15 Minutes of Fame Today!
In the height of the hippie years, 1968, Pop Artist and cult figure Andy Warhol stated: "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes". Of course, I was too young to remember him personally (heh, heh), but I do know that he was famous for painting the Campbell Soup Can pop-art pictured above.
Well, enough about that. Let's get into the main reason for this bloglet... to invite you to post your own story, and possibly win a great prize! (And claim your 15 minutes of fame).

Condom Fashion Show in China
Models parade in outfits made of condoms during a fashion show held at the 4th China Reproductive Health New Technologies & Products Expo in Beijing on 7/11/07. Condoms of all sizes and colors were used to make dresses, hats and even lollipops. Models fought through extravagant soap bubble special effects to show off tight-fitting gowns, scaly evening dresses, outrageous bikinis and other garments made entirely of condoms.
The show was organized by China's largest condom manufacturer, Guilin Latex Factory, to promote the use of condoms in the fight against HIV/AIDS. It also marked World Population Day, organized annually by the U.N. Population Fund.
