3rd Time Is The Charm

With This Ring...

Hi,

It took 3 tries for my wonderful wife and I to get married... at least to each other.

We initially met 30 years ago when she worked at a small neighborhood shop I visited 3-4 times a week... but in those days I was REALLY shy with girls... and she soon got married to a neighbor. They have 2 wonderful boys together, now grown.

In the meantime I went on with my life, met someone else, got married, and was a good stepfather. I attended school functions, PTA meetings, met the teachers. So we meet again... she's now a teacher in my local school... and she is a widow... but I am married.

The 3rd time we meet is through match.com... I'm divorced and dating a bit and I see a profile, no picture but an interesting story to go with it. I "wink", she replies, and after a few weeks of email and telephone conversations we meet for dinner...

So now we've met 3 times over 30 years... and only now are WE BOTH READY for each other...

We date...

Slowly at first...

And we slowly became a couple...

Her townhouse is broken into and she doesn't feel safe...

So we move in together...

I have this half empty house after all and it's just temporary...

And she DOES buy a house...

But about 6 months later we're off to Jamaica to get married at Couples Negril!

We're VERY happy and our anniversary is next month.
