We were young and in love, we dated throughout high school. I was patient, she was younger than I but I had needs. At 18 and still a virgin in the 1970's, had been a curse to me. We drifted apart in the summer of 1970 but not sure why that happened. I found an outlet to lose my virginity and did. I still missed Linda but now I ruined things. I wound up married to someone else. Yes it was love, but some years after I began to yearn for Linda. I think of her everyday, I miss her, I still love her. Sorry to admit she was and is now the love of my life. Don't let your Linda slip away as you will, like me, regret it for the rest of your life.
