I recently started dating this really sweet guy and he has been the nicest guy I've ever met. The problem: he's not the cutest and the girls I hang out with don't like it one bit; they tease me, make fun of me and him. I feel bad and want this to work. What can I do to fix this and get my relationship off to a good start?

For starters, dump your immature, selfish and mean-spirited girlfriends. One of the most liberating times in your life is when you realize that the opinions of others are not important. Quit caring what other people think and follow your own heart and instincts. So very liberating!
