LOVE DESTINY TAROT THE TAROT DECK...SPREAD 'EM!
Love destiny tarot...
Have you ever seen a Tarot deck? The cards are delicious. The complex images are thought to release subconscious (and conscious) reactions in us. In this way, we give the "reading" life; it is actually an expression of ourselves. So you might say Tarot is really a "creative thought process".
A traditional Tarot Deck has 78 cards. 22 make up the Major Arcana or "Trumps". These are representative of the stages of human development, or the "journey through life". The remaining 56 cards make up the Minor Arcana, and are divided into 4 suits, not unlike conventional playing cards. These reveal changes, behavior and specific situations.
The popular view is that the cards take on the "aura" or "vibrations" of whoever touches them. So, they are handled only by the Diviner and the Querent (one seeking answers). The Querent shuffles the cards and the Diviner deals them out in a special pattern or "spread".
There are many different spreads practiced, the most popular being the "Celtic Cross". The cards are then analyzed by the Diviner according to their positions, relationship to one another, and whether they are upside down or not. That's it! Sound simple? Well, it really is, even for beginners. But some Tarot readers get into it, spending years studying the meaning of all the cards in different combinations and positions. Don't lose yourself in the Tarot! Today, there are many hundreds of Tarot decks available, to accommodate different tastes and interests. There are decks with quite unusual "slants"...really. You can get a "cat deck", "feministdeck", "baseball deck", "dragons", "native American", you name it. And, there are Tarot decks themed on love...

LOVE DESTINY TAROT A BRIEF HISTORY OF TAROT CARDS
Love destiny tarot...
The history of Tarot is as complex and mysterious as the cards themselves. Where did it originate? There is evidence that Tarot existed in China, India and Egypt in the early centuries A.D. It is believed that gypsies brought the cards to Europe. Modern Tarot cards date back to 14th century Spain, France and Italy.
In earlier centuries, Tarot cards were only used for play...as card games. In Northern Italy, they were used for a card game called Tarocchi. It wasn't until the 18-19th centuries that Tarot took on a more mystical use-- divination, or fortune-telling. Tarot, as in the history of astrology, assumed an occult, magic or even evil connotation and, of course, was denounced by the Church.
Today, in most of Europe, Tarot cards are used for game-playing only. America is another story. In the early 1900's, noted psychologist Carl Jung attached scientific significance to the Tarot. He felt that Tarot could help bring subconscious thoughts to a conscious level so they could be analyzed. He was a pretty deep old guy, you know. He felt that time has it's own quality, that each instant has it's own special vibration. (Like when you deal out your Tarot cards). In America, Tarot has enjoyed an explosion of interest and popularity, particularly with "New-Agers", since the 1970's. There are an abundance of attractive decks available today, complete with easy-to-follow instruction manuals.
