Some Day In October

I was going through divorce and one of the parents of a child in my class asked if I was dating anyone? I replied No, and wasn't sure if I was ready to honestly. But she persuaded me to go out on a double date with her and her husband. I gave her my phone number to give to him.

He called me that night and we talked for hours, realizing that we had a lot in common. We were both going through divorce and each had two kids; a girl and a boy. We hit it off so well that we decided to meet the next night, no biggy just a movie. I still to this day can't tell you what the movie was about we talked all night and fell asleep in each others arms (no nothing happened ).

We have been inseparable every since the day we met. We went to Sea World for a vaction and he gave me a promise ring. I about flipped out, I thought he was proposing!

A few months later he did propose. I never saw it coming. We were at his lake house fishing, laughing, teasing each other about who was going to catch the biggest fish.When I turned around to ask him to help me with my bait he had a ring hooked on his line. My stomach dropped as he he bent down on his knee in the boat in the middle of the lake. I said yes of course, and we have been so happily married for over a year now.

We got married in his dad's beautiful back yard; everything about the wedding was perfect.Our honeymoon was totally paid for. Since we are into fishing we went to Colorado on a fishing guide. It was snowing outside, the view was flawless and so is our love. I love my husband and my big 'ol family.
